Description:
44wcf, #604773, 20 inch barrel, blue and case color finish, walnut stock and forearm, express barrel sight missing leafs, 8 3/8 inch forearm, 3 7/8 inches from muzzle to magazine tube ferrel pin, decorated with brass pins, 1912.
Condition: very good bore, surfaces are smooth gun metal gray, wood has been cleaned, crack the length of the bottom of forearm, chipped along left side, crack on right side, mechanically very good, brass pins/brads rather than the usual dome headed big chair tacks for decoration, along with star decoration, lends some authenticity but is late manufacture, pins are slightly proud suggesting wear after the pins were applied.
