Description:
This is the nicest model 1892 to come thru our doors in years. Barrel & Magazine tube 99%, forend 98%, Buttstock 97%, Buttplate 80%, Hammer, Lever, 97%, Receiver would be 99% except for some light screwdriver scratches (see photos), what looks to be factory installed 1&1/4" swivels, perfect bright bore, Lyman folding match front sight, and Lyman No 2 tang sight. Rear barrel sight blank is present but not shown in photos. Photos show a different tang sight which is not included in the sale. The included tang sight is the Lyman No 2. This is one hell of a Model 92. Serial range 980xxx, made in 1927.
