1894 Winchester .38-55 Antique

Description:
Antique 1894 Winchester manufactured in 1898. .38-55 with 19 1/2" octagon barrel and full magazine tube. I will rate the bore a 5 on a scale from 1 to 10. Barrel and tube retain maybe 10% original blue in protected areas with the remainder a gray / brown patina. Markings are good and action functions nicely. Receiver retains 10-15% original blue with gray / brown patina mixing in. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition but show use. There are dents, scrapes, scratches, and tiny crack in left hand side of forearm. There is also a sliver of wood missing in the right hand side of upper tang (see pics of both). This is a perfect example for a restoration project or use it for parts. It's still a desirable caliber and antique rifle which are more difficult to locate. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps.
