c1913 mfr. WINCHESTER Model 1894 .25-35 WCF Caliber LEVER ACTION RIFLE C&R
Iconic Repeating Rifle Made in 1913
Description: c1913 mfr. WINCHESTER Model 1894 .25-35 WCF Caliber LEVER ACTION RIFLE C&R Iconic Repeating Rifle Made in 1913 Here we present a C&R Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle, made in 1913 in New Haven, Connecticut. The credit for the design of such a prolific firearm again lies with John Moses Browning, who lent his extensive design talents to a large number of weapon types throughout his career. The Model 1894 was the first Winchester rifle made for use with the new technology of smokeless powder and was developed as a hunting rifle. Over 7.5 million were produced from 1894 until 2006. While various cartridges were supported throughout the run of the gun, the .30-30 Winchester became its staple. In practical use, the Model 1894 became a favorite for general shooters and hunters alike. To this day, it remains a deer hunting favorite, and, in all likelihood, more deer have been taken with the 1894 than any other. This Model 1894 rifle features a shortened 21-inch octagon barrel chambered in .25-35 Winchester Center Fire. The .25-35 was, and still is, a fairly short-range, small to medium game cartridge, though it has been known to take large game such as moose and elk. The overall condition is very good. Original finish. The action is excellent. The bore is in good condition with good rifling. The walnut stock is smooth and solid. There are a couple notches in the underside of the forearm. There is a small chip at the wrist/frame junction on the left. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 21 inches. Caliber: .25-35 WCF Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $2350 #226383 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
