Description: CLASSIC 1894 .30WCF ROUND BARREL/FULL MAGAZINE RIFLE, #534XXX, MADE THE YEAR THE TITANIC SANK IN 1912. Retains most of the deep blue on the barrel and magazine. The barrel is fitted with a flat top buckhorn rear sight (needs the elevator bar only) and an interesting Rocky Mountain blade/copper bead front sight that is marked “STEWART, TACOMA, WN” (the last is an early abbreviation for Washington state). The other side of the sight base is marked “Pat. Apr. 21, 1914.” The receiver is mostly gray/brown with some aged blue in protected areas and fine blue on the loading gate. Fine+ stock and forend with very tight wood to metal fit. Exc. mech with strong springs and exc. bright and sharp bore. This one is fitted with early style sling-eye swivels correctly mounted in the forend cap and in the bottom of the stock that may be factory. Exc. markings, no extra holes, 108 year old Winchester with nice appearance.
