DESIRABLE Winchester Model 94 FLATBAND 25-35 Carbine
Description: Winchester Model 94 Pre-64 carbine made during the lost records years, serial # 1,434,909, probably 1945 or 1946 (1,500,000 was given to President Truman in 1948), having the desirable front flat barrel band AND is in the highly sought 25-35 WCF caliber! All standard features of 20" round barrel, full magazine, walnut stocks, long fore arm, shotgun style butt with correct checked steel butt plate, open sights, even retaining the original front sight hood on the ramp. Barrel and mag tube retain 90% thinning original blue. Receiver retains 75% original thinning blue starting to tone to patina. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, showing typical light nicks and scratches from use. Action is crisp and the half cock safety works as it should. Bore is excellent with strong sharp rifling and no pitting/no frost, about a 9 of 10. Definitely one that does not come around for sale often and one you won't want to pass up.
