Description:
This special gun was ordered with a 22 inch half octagon barrel. Full length mag tube. Pistol grip checkered stock and rifle style buttplate. It has provision for a cleaning rod in the buttplate which is very rare in a model 1894. Gun was engraved in #10 pattern. It has a 3-leaf platinum folding rear sight and typical German silver front sight. Chambered for the 30-30 cartridge and has a very good bore. Deluxe wood has been cleaned and has some old repairs and grafts done at the wrist. Traces of original checkering remaining. Comes complete with a Factory Letter. Formerly in the Ed Brandhorst Collection.
