Great Condition Winchester Model 1894 Octagon Rifle Cal 32 WS Made 1901
Description: Winchester Model 1894 rifle in the classic standard configuration of 26" full octagon barrel, full magazine, crescent rifle butt, blued and case hardened finish, plain trigger, plain walnut stocks, open sights, caliber 32 Winchester Special with nickel steel barrel, serial number 229457, made in 1901 and thus qualifying as a curio & relic firearm. CONDITION: All blued surfaces retain 80% original factory blue with a few spots drifting to plum. Butt plate, lever, fore end cap and hammer have silvered out, with the hammer and lever retaining some smoky traces of the original case colors. Action is butter-smooth and the half cock safety works as designed. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, light wear marks, no extra holes, never sanded or refinished, still tight and even to the metal except for some light wear at the butt stock toe. Bore is very good, an 8 of 10. All parts are original, right down to the sights. Will make an excellent shooter and investment firearm!
