Factory records show this gun was made on Dec 1, 1901 with standard 26" octagon barrel, single trigger, Lyman sights. Rifle has Winchester sling eyes not listed in letter. Gun is in fantastic condition with 98% original Winchester blue on barrel and tube. 80% plus high polish blue on both sides of the receiver. Excellent piano finish wood with few dings. Mint bore and action. Beautiful case colors on lever and hammer. Great early rifle in a high demand 32-40 caliber. I don't know if sights are Lyman, Rare is flat top sporting looks like typical Winchester and not marked. front is not marked and has a white bead. I can tell you that finding a nice 94 rifle with all the high polish blue on the receiver sides is getting really hard to find. This is a georgous rifle.
