Part-Octagon Barrel, Pistol Grip WINCHESTER Model 1894 Rifle in .32 WS C&R
1907 Model 94 Rifle with Special Order Features!
Description: Part-Octagon Barrel, Pistol Grip WINCHESTER Model 1894 Rifle in .32 WS C&R 1907 Model 94 Rifle with Special Order Features! Here we present a C&R Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Carbine in .32 Winchester Special, made in 1907 in New Haven, Connecticut. The credit for the design of such a prolific firearm again lies with John Moses Browning, who lent his extensive design talents to a large number of weapon types throughout his career. The Model 1894 was the first Winchester rifle made for use with the new technology of smokeless powder and was developed as a hunting rifle. Over 7.5 million were produced from 1894 until 2006. While various cartridges were supported throughout the run of the gun, the .30-30 Winchester became its staple. In practical use, the Model 1894 became a favorite for general shooters and hunters alike. To this day, it remains a deer hunting favorite, and, in all likelihood, more deer have been taken with the 1894 than any other. This Model 1894 Rifle features a 26-inch part-octagonal, part-round barrel in .32 Winchester special—a great cartridge that is still in production. The .32 WS and the .30-30 WCF were both developed from the .38-55 WCF and the .32 features a .321 caliber bullet as opposed to the .308 bullet of the .30-30. The magazine is about 2/3 length. The front sight is a Marbles Sheard beaded blade and the rear sight is a rather interesting leaf with a simple notch and a dialing wheel with positions “A” through “H” to adjust for elevation. The stock has the shotgun style butt plate and a pistol grip with the Winchester trademarkings. The forestock has a series of notches on the bottom: 18 total. The butt stock has been repaired at the wrist with a screw through an escutcheon and it has done a fair job of stabilizing. The overall condition is very good. The action is strong and crisp; the lever is eager and smooth. This example has retained a bright bore although the rifling has thinned a bit. Solid stock with expected wear and the aforementioned repair at the wrist. Original blue has been preserved in lower traffic areas. This is a classy rifle with special order features that was no safe queen, but a rifle for the woods or fields! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 26 inches. Caliber: .32 W.S. (Winchester Special) Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $2025 #210023 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
