Pre-'64 Winchester Model 94 Flat-Band Carbine
Description:
Serial #1561599, .32 Win. Spl., 20" barrel with an excellent, bright bore.
This is a 1949-made carbine that has retained 95-97% of the original blue finish, with some silvering at the muzzle and magazine tube cap, some fading along the underside of the frame, and some further plum-brown fading along the top wrist tang.
There are a few very small areas of brown freckling on the sides of the receiver, and some gray wear on the bearing surfaces of the lever, and on the sides of the hammer.
The wooden forend and buttstock are in excellent condition as refinished, with very few visible handling marks or blemishes, and the checkered steel buttplate is in fine shape.
The carbine retains the original rear barrel sight, front sight blade, and front sight hood.
This is a splendid looking Model 94, and is in fine-excellent condition overall.
