Receiver is a mottled gray. Hammer and lever have traces of case colors. Pistol grip buttstock is in good overall condition with typical handling dings and some dark color near frame and tangs. Good bore with strong rifling. Crisp smooth action. Cody Research Form states the serial number application date of July 9, 1911.
