SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 IN 38-55 CALIBER
Description:
Special order 26 inch half octagon barrel chambered in 38-55 caliber with a very good bright shiny bore. Sights include a German silver blade front and a flattop sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube retain most all thinning blue and a few scratches. Receiver also has most blue with some edge wear turning gray. Good nitre blue on the loading gate. Traces of case colors remain on the hammer and lever. Walnut stocks are overall good condition with a few small gouges. Rifle style crescent buttplate has silvered out. Nice crisp functioning action. A good honest looking special order Winchester that was made in 1903.
