Description: ** SALE PENDING DAVE K IN FL ** Special order Winchester Model 1894 rifle, caliber 30 WCF aka 30-30, with 26" part octagon barrel, button magazine, plain pistol grip, shotgun butt, hard rubber butt plate, blued and case hardened finish, serial number puts date of manufacture as 1909. Plain trigger, blank in rear sight seat, Lyman #1 combination tang sight installed, and Lyman brass bead front sight. Barrel retains 70% fine aged blue thinning in spots. Receiver has mostly flaked with about 10% original blue remaining overall. Stocks are sound, showing expected dings/bumps/scratches and a very slight abrasion loss at toe of butt stock/butt plate. Action is smooth. Half cock safety works properly. Tang sight spring is soft, thus the sight does not snap into place as it should. Thankfully there are no extra holes drilled in the upper tang. Base of tang sight is not marked on the underside. Bore is bright and shiny with no pitting, no rings, no bulges, a 9 of 10. Pistol grip has correct Winchester logo grip cap. Traces of case color remain on the hammer and lever. A good special order Winchester Model 1894 that will make a fun shooter as well as a long-term investment for the collector. TERMS: FREE SHIPPING!
