SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 RIFLE IN 25-35 WCF

Description:
26 inch rapid taper half octagon barrel chambered in 25-35 WCF caliber with a very good shiny bore and strong rifling. Sights include a ramped Lyman blade front with a blank filler in the rear and a folding tang. Most original thinning barrel blue remains with sharp clear markings. Half length magazine tube. Receiver has some blue in the protected areas with the balance turning a brown/gray patina. Good traces of case color on the hammer and lever. About 50% blue on the loading gate. Crisp action. Special order walnut stock with un-checked pistolgrip and shotgun butt with a hard rubber buttplate. This special order configuration Winchester rifle was made in 1903 and will no doubt fill a hole in your 1894 collection.
