VERY FINE CONDITION 1894 ROUND BARREL RIFLE IN SCARCE .32-40 CALIBER,

Description:
VERY FINE CONDITION 1894 ROUND BARREL RIFLE IN SCARCE .32-40 CALIBER, #323XXX, MADE 1906. The .32-40 was the least produced caliber in the 1894. This example shows fine deep blue on the sides of the receiver and on the bolt with normal thinning to gray on the edges, receiver ring and bottom. Still retains some light case color on the hammer and lever. The barrel and magazine tube also show fine deep blue and even the forend cap shows some good blue. Excellent stock and forearm with tight wood to metal fit, exc. screw heads, tight action and Lyman tang sight with folding aperture intact (NO extra holes in the tang underneath). The bore is only a little dark with sharp rifling all the way through and just needs a good brushing out. Buckhorn rear sight with copper bead front sight. A really attractive 1894 with excellent markings and overall appearance in a scarce caliber.
