Round bbl with full mag tube and crescent butt. As stated, the cal is 38-55 which are not noted for having great bores. This one actually has a pretty good bore being bright and shiny. Some light pitting and roughness but has good rifling. Receiver blue is 70%+ with some age showing and wear at the carry point. A lot of good blue on bbl and mag tube with some rough spots and a few scratches. Wood is nice fitting on both stock and forearm. A few dings and scratches but no cracks or losses. The wood is quite heavily oil stained. Pretty nice gun overal!
