WINCHESTER 1894 RIFLE 38-55
Description:
A very nice cond Winchester with a 26" rd bbl, full mag and crescent buttplate. It would be hard to find nicer bbl blue. 95%+ remaining. A couple of scratches towards the front sight and light wear in a couple of spots. Mag tube also has nice blue. Receiver has nice blue on the left side and typical flaking on the right. This gun is in the 850k serial range and they had the tendency to do that. The bottom of the buttplate was evidently sitting on something and got a little rust so it has been lightly cleaned and is now a silver/brown color. The top of the buttplate looks nice. The wood also looks nice. It is nice fitting and in VG cond. VG bore, especially for being a 38-55.
