Antique Winchester 1894 Takedown Rifle in 38-55 Caliber Good looking rifle with honest and even wear throughout, 80% Barrel and receiver blue some of which is turning to a plumb patina., Wood to metal fit is tight and there are no cracks or splits it the wood. Has a crescent butt, 26 Inch octagon barrel, and a very early, Lyman, i believe, adjustable tang site. Bore is bright and shiny with some very minor pitting and the rifling is excellent. Great bore for this caliber. The action is tight, smooth and functions flawlessly. Shoots great!. I also have a box of shells to go with the rifle. Serial number in the 1352xx range.
