Americas favorite deer rifle. The perfect hunting gun either on foot or from the saddle, lightweight, nimble, and fast to action the 94 is simple, safe, and reliable.  Designed by John Browning the Model 1894 is the rifle most associated with the Winchester name; it has sold over 7,000,000 units and is often referred to as the “ultimate lever-action”. Offered throughout its production in many different configurations along with a myriad of customizable options 1894’s are varied and often unique.

This Winchester Model1894, sn249663, was manufactured in 1902. The 26” octagon barrel has a bore that is an 8 out of 10 with crisp rifling and 90% factory bluing. This rifle is chambered for Winchester’s .32WS cartridge. A more powerful round when compared to the ubiquitous 30-30. According to Winchester’s original claims, the .32 WS has 5-10% more energy than the .30-30 at close ranges, an ideal bullet for close woodland hunts, and this rifle was outfitted from the factory with longer range shooting in mind as well. It has a Lyman No. 28 front sight, Lyman No. 2 rear peep site, and a unique Winchester adjustable ramp rear sight specifically designed for the .32 WS M.94.  The receiver shows 85% factory bluing with some areas going to a pleasing patina mostly at the bottom edges of the receiver – righteous wear at the carry point of the gun. Wood to metal fit is superb, the screws are excellent.  The wood has a handsome hue with the expected wear from many adventures in the wild and terminates in the classic crescent buttplate.   This is a good and honest gun from the turn of the century and a great Winchester for any occasion!
