WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 DLX EXTRA LIGHTWEIGHT RIFLE IN 38-55

Description:
22 inch tapered round Nickel steel barrel chambered in 30 WCF caliber with a bright shiny bore and strong rifling. Barrel and 3/4 length magazine tube have been cleaned long ago and are a mottled gray color. Sights include a Beaches combination front with a sporting rear and a combination peep folding tang sight. Takedown collar and forend cap both show some spots of light pitting. Receiver still has a good amount of blue remaining with a few scattered light pits. Hammer and lever show traces of case colors. Crisp functioning action. Checkered walnut forearm and pistolgrip stock with hard rubber grip cap are in good condition with a hard rubber shotgun buttplate. A lot of features, somebody knew what they wanted when this one was ordered. Manufactured in 1905 and comes with a Cody Firearms research form stating the special order features and configuration. Should be a good shooter.
