Description:
26 inch octagon barrel. Sights include a Marble-Sheard front, a sporting rear and a Lyman No. 2 combination sight on the tang. Full length magazine. Take down frame/receiver. Plain walnut forearm with a straight grip buttstock and a crescent rifle buttplate. Condition rates about very good with barrel and magazine tube showing about 70% thinning finish with wear and handling marks. The receiver shows about 20% finish thinning to gray. Has the initials “BK” scratched into the lower tang. Very good bore is fairly bright and shiny with strong rifling. Stocks are solid and full fitting with typical wear and handling marks and an unfilled hole left over from a sling mount. Manufactured in 1905.
