The piece` de resistance of a collector’s collection: Magnificent Circa 1912; SN 639,6XX; Well-Used and Well Cared-For Winchester Model 1894 in .32 Winchester Special. We have found no comparable rifle with as many High-Grade Factory Options as this one: Deluxe Wood and Checkering; Pistol Grip Stock with Original Factory Logo Grip Cap; Superbly Executed Classic Game Scenes (of Running & Standing Buck) Engraved on the Receiver Flats; Half-Round / Half-Octagon 24-Inch Barrel with Elegant & Tastefully Engraved Embellishments consisting of Scrolls, Rings, Borders and Circle-Stippled Backgrounds. Tongue of the Steel Crescent Buttplate is Engraved, as is the Steel Forend Cap with Decorative Floral Escutcheon-Like Screw Surrounds. Even with all that the embellishments appear restrained & by no means overdone. But there’s more: Adjustable Double-Set Factory Triggers, Original Lyman Tang Sight – and the Rifle is a Takedown. The well-heeled original owner clearly carried it afield and used it – and all of that shows in the correct-for-age patina on much of the metal finish. The Bore is Excellent; Mechanical Functions are Tight, True and Correct; and all Factory Markings are Sharp, Deep, Original and Legible.
