Description:
26 inch round barrel. Full length tube magazine. Marbles No 5 front sight with a V-notch sporting rear. Plain walnut forearm with a matching straight grip buttstock fit with a crescent rifle buttplate. Poor condition overall with metal surfaces showing heavy oxidation. The magazine tube has traces of blue appearing mostly a dark brown with heavy pitting. All other metal surfaces have been cleaned to bare metal now having a somewhat mottled appearance ranging from brown to dull gray with heavily pitted surfaces. The bore is dark with uneven surfaces, areas of pitting and faint traces of rifling. Stocks are solid and fit fairly well showing wear and handling marks. Manufactured in 1917.
