WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 RIFLE WITH PENCIL BARREL IN 30 WCF

Description:
Special order 24 inch extra rapid taper round barrel chambered in 30 WCF caliber with a bright shiny near excellent bore. Sights include a blade front with a Marble blank in the rear and a Lyman No. 21 receiver sight. Barrel retains most all thinning original blue with a couple of touched up spots. Special order half length magazine. Receiver retains about 15% original blue in the protected areas with the balance thinning to a plum/gray patina. Good traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Crisp action. Walnut stock set with shotgun butt retain most original varnish with only minor handling mars. Hard rubber buttplate This special order configuration rifle was made in 1902 with some good honest use. Features verified by Factory Letter of Authenticity. This one was ordered by someone who knew what they wanted. These rapid taper "Pencil" barrels are hard to find and this Winchester is sure to fill a hole in your collection.
