Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine in .30 WCF

Description:
Serial #462242, .30 WCF (.30-30), 20" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1908-made SRC that retains 90-92% of the original blue along the barrel and magazine tube, with some silvering at the muzzle, and a few scattered spots of mild surface freckling along their length. The receiver retains traces of the original blue, mostly around the saddle ring stud, and the balance of the metal turned bright, pewter gray. The walnut forend and buttstock are in about very good shape with minor handling marks and surface blemishes scattered about the original oil finish, and the steel buttplate has an overall mottled gray patina with patches of pitting at the heel and toe. The carbine is outfitted with a high sporting bead front sight, vacant barrel dovetail, and has a Marbles folding tang sight installed. This is a fine example of a desirable ‘94 SRC, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
