Winchester Model 1894 Semi Deluxe 30 WCF Rifle
Description: Antique special order Winchester Model 1894 semi deluxe rifle with pistol grip, style "I" checkering, 1/2 magazine, 26" part octagon barrel and takedown frame in caliber 30 WCF. Factory records confirm the configuration and show a ship date in October 1899. Takedown is tight with no wobble. Stocks are sound, no splits or cracks, no extra holes, never sanded or refinished, and exhibit typical scratches and dings expected of a 120 year old rifle. One kill mark cut in butt stock just behind pistol grip. Original checkering is good and has never been freshened. Traces of case colors present on hammer and lever. Receiver about 10% original blue with some light pitting in spots from poor storage. Barrel and mag 70% thinning aged blue with some scattered light surface pitting as well. Original sights include the platinum-lined 3 leaf express rear with all leaves intact and the standard German silver blade front with set screw. Bore is very good with strong rifling, no pitting, starting to dull in the grooves, about an 8 of 10, should make a fine shooter. Action is tight and crisp. Half cock safety functions properly. Nice, original untouched special order semi deluxe rifle. No international sales. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Will ship by USPS Priority Mail with tracking for $50.
