Winchester model 1894 TD .30-30 circa 1901
Description:
Winchester model 1894 take-down rifle chambered in .30 WCF. This early 94 shows by the “book” that it was made in 1898 however the factory letter says that it left the warehouse in June of 1901. The beauty of the take-down is that it is absolutely original and it is in very fine original condition including the mirror-bright perfect bore. The receiver has some “out-of-the-scabbard” type striations in the blue that are quite common on these fine early examples of the 1894. Original, nicely figured buttstock and forearm retain 90+% finishes. Even the tang sight is original and noted as a “Sporting rear sight” on the factory letter.
