WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 TD HALF OCTAGON 26 INCH PENCIL BARREL RIFLE IN 30 WCF

Description:
Rare 26 inch half octagon rapid taper barrel chambered in 30 WCF caliber with a shiny bore and strong rifling. Sights include a ramped Lyman blade front with 3 leaf platinum express rear and a Lyman folding tang. Most all original thinning barrel blue remains. Receiver has about 75% glossy blue with some edge wear and at the carry point. Vivid case colors on the hammer and lever. Strong nitre blue on the loading gate. Half length magazine and takedown frame. Beautiful 3x grade deluxe walnut on both the forearm and butt stock. Very unusual straight stock without checkering appears to have an extra gloss finish complete with original hard rubber style buttplate.   Very scarce attractive and unusual Winchester that was made in 1905.
