Americas favorite deer rifle. The perfect hunting gun either on foot or from the saddle, lightweight, nimble, and fast to action the 94′ is simple, safe and reliable. The Model 94 is the rifle most associated with the Winchester name, it has sold over 7,000,000 units and is often referred to as the “ultimate lever-action”. Built in 1953, serial numbered 1983218 this Winchester was made in the last decade before Winchester altered their building methods to more of an ‘accountancy’ lead system. Consequently pre-64 Winchesters are much sought after in the market and genuine honest guns such as this 94 show how ’they used to be’. This carbine exhibits 99% factory original bluing on the barrel, the receiver, trigger and lever show 99% factory finishes, the gun has perfect screws and a stunning ten out of ten bore. The furniture has its original factory finish with some field handling marks and a checkered steel butt plate with 99% bluing. Pre 64 Winchester 94’s are getting harder to find and one is such outstanding condition are exceptionally rare and when they do come up for sale are snapped up in a shot!
