No cracks in the wood, wood has a few small nicks and dings but nothing major. It has its original factory metal buttplate. The under side of the receiver shows some "carry wear" (see photo) but overall I think the metal is about 95%. If you are looking for a good solid lever action, not a collectors piece, look no further. No Cal;ifornia sales, sorry. This gun, as with all used guns, should be inspected by a trusted gunsmith before firing. We offer a 3 day, NON-FIRING, inspection period with returm priviliges, with shipping and Insurance paid by the buyer. Packing, shipping and insurance at actual cost.
