Description:
A real nice Winchester Model 94 carbine chambered in the hard-to-find .25-35 WCF. This is a standard carbine with a 20" barrel with an excellent bore. Serial number is 1446275, produced in 1947 and features the flat front barrel band used by Winchester for a short period after World War II. This is an original unaltered gun in fine used condition and shows signs of normal use. Receiver and barrel have 90% of the original blued finish with wear along the edges and underside of the receiver. The metal surfaces are free of any rust or corrosion. The stamped barrel markings are clear and legible. The walnut stocks are in fine condition with the original factory finish completely intact. Any marks on the wood are limited to minor handling marks, no deep scratches or cracks. The wood has never been sanded or refinished, and all wood is proud to the adjoining metal. This rifle has the correct front and rear Winchester sights, including the front sight hood. The butt stock has the original flat checkered steel butt plate that Winchester started using right about the time this 94 was made. Bore is bright with good rifling and no rough spots and the action functions freely and as designed. In summary, an honest WWII-era Winchester model 94 in very fine original condition built with the quality Winchester was famous for.
