Wood is sound, no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, and very few dings and scratches, really show no use, forearm has some nice figure to it. Correct carbine-style steel buttplate. Action is crisp, half-cock safety functions properly, and bore is mint, should make a great shooter upon inspection by a competent gunsmith. Metal finishes mostly patina with about 50-60% coverage. Correct rear sight with 3C elevator and ramped front sight with hood missing. Serial # 1101371, manufactured approximately 1936.
