Winchester ~ 1895 ~ .35 Win
Description:
The model 1895 was the first Winchester rifle designed with a box magazine instead of a tubular one, and one of the last lever actions designed by John Browning. Since the development of the box magazine, the bullets could now be pointed since they weren't stacked behind each other. This lead to a new caliber, .35 Winchester, and a higher long range effectiveness. This 1895 is in fair condition, with almost all of the bluing worn off of the receiver, while some of the bluing remains on the barrel. There's a split in the fore end wood as well as a piece missing from the stock. They both have wear and handling marks and have dings throughout the wood. But after over a century of use, a bit of wear and tear is expected. This Winchester's 1895 was one of Teddy Roosevelt's favorite guns, and it could be yours, too!
