Winchester 1895 Carbine in 30-06, 22" Barrel, Mfg. 1925
Description:
"I'll consider reasonable offers on a single or a multiple gun purchase." Please look at my other listings. The guns I'm listing haven't been on the market for many years.
Winchester Model 1895 Saddle Ring Carbine in 30-06 with 22" barrel. Includes 3-piece cleaning rod but unsure if its original to gun. It was in the butt when I bought it. Serial number 414214, mfg. in 1925. This 1895 carbine is in very nice original condition. No rust or pits on this rifle. The bore is in excellent plus condition. Receiver retains about 65-70 percent of its original blue with balance turning to a plum brown. The barrel retains 95+ percent of its original blue. The butt plate retains about 60 percent of its original blue. The stocks are in nice unsanded condition with a few dings and scrapes. From what I could make out from the Madis sight book, I believe the rear sight is the 50C carbine sight. Any advice from an expert would be appreciated if wrong.
Will give 3 day non-firing inspection. Please let me know if you need additional pictures or have a question.
Shipping is $35 to lower 48. Must ship to FFL or C&R license. Payment by certified check. Will accept PayPal with a 3% surcharge.
