Nice early Winchester oct bbl rifle. 1800 serial number. Cal 38-72. The old antique flat sides are getting hard to find. This one is a pretty good example with 26" oct bbl. Bbl is mostly a grey patina. Bore isn't too bad either. Good rifling. No pitting. Some light roughness. Receiver is also a grey antique patina. Good wood. Butt stock fits and looks good. A few use marks. Forearm is also way above average with no cracks or losses. This would be a dandy if you are looking for an early Winchester 95.
