WINCHESTER 1895 RIFLE IN CALIBER 30 US
Description: 22 inch round tapered barrel. Bright shiny bore. Brass bead blade front sight and a blank in the rear dovetail. Barrel has been shortened to a more desirable length and retains some original blue with the balance having turned a grey color. Receiver has traces of blue in protected areas. Side mount receiver sight marked "Lyman". Quite unusual but uses original screw holes. Nice action. Wood has usual dings and mars but in good condition. A little shy at the crescent buttplate.
