Description: This is a Great 110 yr. old Winchester Model 1895 Sporting Lever-Action Rifle. The 1895's were the First nondetachable magazine Rifle offered by Winchester. This Rifle was manufactured around 1906. S.N.#-56736 The Rifle is chambered in .30US (.30-40 Krag) caliber and has a 28" round barrel. For a Rifle of its age, it is in pretty good shape, Inside & Out! I would rate its overall condition is about-50%. The crescent butt plate is a little rough, but the wood & metal finish is nice. Most Important is that I believe the Rifle Is 100% Original! Production numbers totaled 425,881 and here is your chance to own a Fine example of a Early Winchester 1895.
