22" nickel steel smokeless powder barrel
Slick lever action
Nice walnut stock with some handling marks
Made in 1905
Winchesters first internal action magazine rifle
Designed to handle the .405 WIN of Teddy Roosevelt fame
Finger groove one band forend
Saddle ring carbine (absent to allow for the adjustable rear elevator sight)
Special order rear peep elevator sight has dual aperture
Proper Winchester proof marks on action top and barrel
Steel crescent butt with cleaning kit trap door
Some blue remaining on frame
40-50% original blue on barrel
Walnut stock is good with slight splinter on forend tip on left side, and repaired front split on right side
Blade front sight
Serial number 51050
