Description:
24 inch round barrel. Sights include a brass bead on ramp front, a single leaf folding rear and a Lyman No.21 receiver sight. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fitted with sling swivels and a crescent rifle buttplate. The barrel retains 70% thinning blue with handling marks. The bore is bright and fairly shiny with strong rifling. The receiver appears mostly a brown thinning to gray with blue in protected areas. The magazine retains about 60% blue finish. Stocks are in good condition with the forearm having a repaired crack at the end. The buttstock was cut off and has a piece grafted back on returning it to the standard 12-3/4 inch LOP and has a repaired crack on the left side by lower tang. Manufactured in 1922.
