EARLY WINCHESTER MODEL 1903 SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE

Description:
20 inch round barrel chambered in  22 Automatic WRF. Bore is bright and fairly shiny with sound rifling showing a couple small areas of light pitting about mid bore. Original Winchester 75A front and 40A rear sights. Metal surfaces are a somewhat mottled brown gray. Walnut stocks are fairly smooth having been lightly cleaned with the forearm having a crack on the left side just ahead of the receiver and the butt having a couple of cracks on each side inline with the magazine tube coming forward from the buttplate. Manufactured in 1903, this is one of the early pre-safety Model 1903’s. That’s right Winchester actually made the first 1903’s WITHOUT safety’s.
