FIRST YEAR WINCHESTER MODEL 1903 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE IN 22 WIN AUTO

Description:
20 inch round barrel chambered in 22 Win Auto rimfire caliber with a very bright shiny near excellent bore. Most all original thinning barrel blue remains. Original open sights include a Winchester 75A blade front and 40A notch rear. Receiver retains most original blue while worn to a gray patina at the carry point. Even the forend cap retains most of its blue. Straight grip walnut stock with cut out for magazine filling is in very good condition with minor handling mars. Nice functioning action. This is one of the early models that was manufactured without a safety. Safety became standard around serial number 5,400. About 126,000 manufactured between 1903-1932. A very nice example of an honest first year 1903 semi-auto Winchester!
