Fine Vintage 1911 Classic Winchester 1906 .22 Pump Rifle

Offered here for sale and just acquired is this a classic Winchester small bore .22 pump rifle - the model 1906. The Winchester Model 1906 was made from 1906 until about 1932 (though some rifles were made out of leftover parts later. It was a more economical version of the earlier Model 1890. It’s a takedown design, meaning the barrel & magazine tube section come off from the receiver, via a screw (or similar fastener) – this was a feature from the start. It is chambered to accept .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle (interchangeably).

It is all original & matching parts.It retains a good majority of original blue finish mixed with gray patina (common – blue tends to wear).Excellent bore. The wood is used but sound. This Model 1906 with serial number 221,929 was manufactured in 1911. It is already over 110 years old. Given the condition this is a nice survivor piece.
