Serial #533271, .22 S-L-LR, 20" barrel with a very good bore that has light freckling and pitting within the grooves. This is a 1918-made rifle that retains 85-90% of an overall reapplied blue finish that has left the markings clear and the edges relatively sharp. Some dark areas of freckling are present on the top of the barrel and near the muzzle. The fluted forend and pistol-grip buttstock have nice checkering with some scattered small blemishes under an added oil finish. The hard rubber grip cap and buttstock are in very good shape with only light wear throughout. This is a handsome little rifle in very good refinished condition, and is an affordable example of a desirable slide-action Winchester. FFL or C&R
