Winchester Model 1906 very rare Half Nickel Expert
Description: There were three different variants of the Model 06 produced by Winchester; the .22 Short Model, the Standard Model, and the Expert Model. The Expert Model, the deluxe version, was produced from 1918 to 1924, had a plain fluted slide grip and a pistol gripped stock. It features a fixed front sight, adjustable ramp rear sight and a full length tubular magazine. it will shoot .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle ammunition. The Expert Model was a favorite of Theodore Roosevelt's children and cousins. Condition: This is a very great looking and collectable very rare Half-Nickle Takedown Expert Model Winchester 06. The original nickle finish is in good condition. There is some small plating spot loss which is typical for the age. It has the standard 20 inch barrel and originial sights. The stock and pump slide grip are in great condition and have no cracks or damage. The action is in exellent condition, works great, is ahootable and operates smoothly. Metal and wood are all original finish. No reblue or refinish. Zelle, cashiers check, money order, personal check or layaway acccepted.
