Description: 28 inch heavy round barrel chambered in 22 LR caliber that measures .882” at the muzzle and 1.013” at the receiver. The barrel and receiver show a good deal of blue with light wear and handling marks. Excellent bore that is bright and shiny with decent rifling. This gun has a number of custom upgraded features that include a modified Marksman Stock having a reshaped high profile comb. It has been converted to single shot with an upgraded adjustable trigger assembly fit into the bottom the stock and the “Safety” removed. The barrel band has been removed with the rail and sling swivels remaining on the fore end and the rear swivel removed to accommodate an adjustable buttplate. Sights include a globe target front and a Marbles-Goss M-52 receiver sight with an adjustable aperture on the rear, or there are scope blocks in place if you choose to go that way. Manufactured 1948.
