Serial #48874B, .22 LR, 28 inch heavy target barrel (measures 1 inch at the receiver and .875 at the muzzle) with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Winchester Model 52B Heavy Barrel Target Rifle configuration of G5274R with heavy barrel, Lyman 77 Front sight and Marble Goss receiver sight manufactured in 1937. In excellent condition the barrel and frame retain virtually all, 96-97% of the original blue finish with only very minor use marks, wear around the muzzle with some finish loss on the barrel retention clip and on the trigger guard. The stock shows some scattered mild use marks and contusions. It comes with one original Winchester marked 5 round magazine, has the adjustable forward and fixed rear sling swivels and has the scope blocks installed ready for a target scope. The lock up is tight with a crisp, light trigger pull. A beautiful, early, well configured 52B Heavy Target rifle that is ready for your next open sight competition. FFL or C&R
