About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for about 60 years, and am a Benefactor/Life NRA member. I feel that it is now time to start selling a few things. All firearms transactions will be handled by a local Gun shop and will follow all firearms laws. All firearms purchased will be shipped by them to your F.F.L. I do my best to price my items fairly. If you think that my price is out of line, please make an offer. I don't have much room for negotiation, but I will work with you if I can. I do not have many items to sell. Please keep checking my items and I will try to add regularly to my listings. I hope to find good homes for these items that are special to me. Please read descriptions and terms, I will endeavor to be accurate.
WINCHESTER MODEL 52, 22 LR, MADE in 1937, With LYMAN 12X TARGETMASTER SCOPE
Description: Really nice, well cared for Winchester model 52, made in 1937, with a Lyman 12 power Targetspot (not Targetmaster) scope. It also has a Lyman receiver sight and front globe sight. I have had this rifle for a while now and I recently installed the Lyman 12 power Targetspot scope. I am 76 years old and the iron sights are not working very well for me. I have had the Lyman Targetspot for about 30 years and have used it on a few different target rifles. It has been a great scope with good clear optics and crisp adjustments. At some point, the rear lens cap went missing but the front one is there. Also, over the years, the front adjustment bell has faded to a silvery color. The crosshairs are clear and sharp and make it easy to see the target. The rifle is in great shape for its 88 years. There are a few small dings and scratches in the stock and one spot on the barrel where something hit against it. These are shown clearly in the photos. The rifle is in original condition and has had no alterations. These completely original early 52s are getting hard to find. It has the original lusterous rust bluing of the pre-WW II rifles that is so satisfyingly beautiful. The trigger is crisp. It appears to have the original magazine. There is some wear on the floorplate where the rifle was carried. The proof is in the shooting, so a few days ago, I took this one out to the farm and set up a table and shot it from sandbags at 50 feet and at 50 yards. I did not use premium target ammo, just some inexpensive Winchester T22 standard velocity target (shown in pictures). These are both 5 shot groups, the smaller one is 50 feet and the larger is 50 yards. These are shown in the pictures. I am a pretty good shot, but with premium ammo and a more solid table, you might improve them. Please check out the photos and contact me with questions. Thank you for looking! Buyer pays Insurance and Shipping costs. TERMS – PLEASE READ; PAYMENT - I can accept money orders, cashier’s checks, bank checks, or personal checks (pending verification of funds). Payments via USPS & UPS are acceptable. My FFL dealer (Dixie Gun & Fish) securely packs and ships each firearm, following all firearms laws, and will include a signed copy of their FFL with each firearm shipped. No private sales on firearms! SAFETY WARNING- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired, and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise. RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges both ways. Please ask questions. Return Policy Guidelines of GunsInternational Unless the buyer and seller agree to modify, as may be the case in a new gun, layaway, international sales and for used guns and accessories it must be clearly marked in the listing as No Return, the return policy is three (3) calendar days from the day the item(s) are received by the buyer or delivered to the FFL acting for the buyer. The item may be returned for any reason, but the buyer must notify the seller within the three (3) calendar day inspection period. The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a complete refund, less all shipping, transaction fees and FFL charges. On a return the buyer must not remove the firearm from the FFL premises without approval of the seller. Once the firearm has been received by the seller and inspected a prompt refund will be issued. Shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item(s). The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance i.e... Priority, Express, Blue Label etc. The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer. This is an inspection period only, a gun is not to be fired or disassembled. Sellers written permission is required to allow the buyer to take down a takedown model during the inspection period. Upon the receipt and inspection of the returned gun, the seller agrees to issue a prompt refund. Recommendation: Confirm purchase with all details via the Contact Seller form within the listing and print out the listing for your records. Industry standard is that if a buyer fails to perform on a layaway that any monies deposited are forfeited. GunsInternational recommends all layaways are agreed in writing. Any modification of the 3 day return policy must be in writing by both buyer and seller.
