Winchester Model 52C Sporter .22 LR. Made in 1955, serial 90223C has no provision (no dovetail cut) for a rear sight. Features include a 24-inch light sporter barrel (.540 muzzle diameter) with integral front sight ramp (topped with blade, dovetail plug also included). The stock is accented with an ebony forend tip, bordered panel checkering, soft Monte Carlo comb, cheek rest, Super Grade inletted sling swivel studs, steel grip cap and a steel butt plate with widow's peak. Weaver bases (extended front) are attached and one original magazine is included. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: The bore is superb, strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 98 percent. Wood finish is approximately 98 percent as well, with a scattering of minor impressions. The price is firm and layaway is available. $6,000 plus shipping.
