This Used Winchester Model 53 Rifle in 32-20/32 WCF Caliber; SN 897,8XX corresponds to ~1916 - 1917 Date of Manufacture. It has a Saddle Ring, which is unusual; 22-Inch Round Barrel; a remarkably good bore with fully preserved rifling – making it another serviceable, vintage shooter in this family collection. All Mechanical Functions are Tight and Operational; Receiver Markings are Original, Correct and Legible; and it has a set of Vintage King’s Front and Rear Sights (King’s Gun Sight Company of San Francisco) plus a Vintage Marble’s (Gladstone, Michigan) Tang Sight. Metal Finish is a mixture of Preserved Blue and Smooth Patina. The Age-Darkened Stock and Forend have Straight Grain, a Glossy Finish (possibly refinished) and are in Good Condition without any major dents or dings. Please refer to the photos and ask any questions or request additional information before purchase as this item will be costly to return owing to CA re-registration and other regulations.
